1) The recommended liner life is 2,500 cow milkings, or 180 days maximum. Even though liners may not have milked 2,500 cows, exposure to fats and milk soils, cleaning solutions, and environmental factors limits effective life to 180 days.

2) This liner life calculator allows usage exceeding 2,500 cow milkings by rounding down the number of changes per year. The extended life is shown above as “Your Liner Life” .

3) The liner Change Dates shown are the required dates for fitting new liners. These dates allow for the dry period between milking seasons.

4) The Liner Change Dates are only calculated to the end of next season or the next 10 changes, whichever comes first.
